Do you see that?
8 [matching] chairs. .
That's 3 more spots than we had with our smaller table that we barely sold yesterday.
We wanted to pay for a new table with cash and gotta say it feels good to have waited (albeit it's not always fun to wait for things you "need" **cough **cough "want." 😜) and have had the money for it. Makes it worth the investment. 👌🏼
But do you know what this means?
It means family dinners at ONE table without extra, non matching chairs or barstools! 🙌🏼 #wedidwhatwehadto
This means enough room to be TOGETHER!! And I love it. ❤️
You see, growing up, our home was 1100 sq ft.
There were 13 children in my family. 😜
Can you imagine the kitchen space we had?
Family meals meant finding SOMEWHERE in the house to sit to enjoy our meal.
I would have LOVED to sit down as a family for our meals with all 15 of us at one table...but come what may, that wasn't feasible.
As a parent now, with control over our eating space/arrangement, and only 7 of us 😝, we finally have a table that will bring us [comfortably] together.
In our efforts to provide quality family time for us and the boys to have conversation and strengthen our relationships, Bern and I feel like an ideal opportunity comes at meal times...when we can gather around the table, void of electronics and other distractions and TALK!
I really feel like this will help our family dynamics as we do this. .
Well, that's our VISION anyway!!! 😆
Now, to make it happen!!🤞🏼👊🏼👊🏼 #paidincash #stayoutofdebt #familymealtimesmatter
