It’s Constitution Day! The U.S. Constitution was signed by delegates of the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787. This afternoon, Judson will host its tenth annual Constitution Day program at 4pm in the Chapel. The event is AE (Attendance Expected) for new students, and upperclassmen may be able to receive class credit for attending (check with your professor). Judson’s Constitution Day commemorates the Constitution by providing education and thoughtful discussion that encourages students, faculty, and staff to grow in their understanding of the Constitution. Mrs. Christine Bussey, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, will present on convicted felons and the right to vote. Dr. Joe Frazer, Assistant Professor of History, will speak on the Constitution’s checks and balances.
