How to effectively master goodwill shopping 🛒 🍃Visit regularly.
visiting once a week is key and the day you chose is important. I visit my local Goodwill usually once a week, sometimes twice if I have the time. I go on only these 2 days Sunday and Monday. 🤔 Ours is literally 25 minutes in either direction from our home. Some days I score big with incredible finds. Other days I walk out with only a few items but I never walk out completely empty handed. You’ll never know unless You stop in and check out the goods. So why Sunday and Monday???? Well we all know that the goodwill is known for having a barb of the week. (This is one colored barn is half off for that week) come Sunday that barb drops to $1 for Sunday and Monday. I don’t know 🤷♀️ about you but that’s yard sale pricing and I am can do it in one ☝️ stop shopping. 🍃Think outside the box and get creative.
This could probably be a whole ‘nother post all by itself, but just know that so much of what you find can be repurposed and madeover for what you want with a bit of imagination.
We bought this dinged up coffee table for $5 last week. We are refurbishing it and much to our surprise it was solid wood.
