Your shoulders’ position is determined by the muscles around them. The rolled forward posture is usually caused by: tight pecs (chest muscles), tight traps (near neck muscles), and / or lack of thoracic (upper back) mobility.

Try this 5-minute routine to fix yo'self:
1️⃣ Shoulder dislocations x15 (per side) - this will open you up
2️⃣ Shoulder retraction hold x30s hold - this will teach you how to retract your shoulders (aka pull them down and back)
3️⃣ Wall slides x15 - this will reinforce the body awareness needed to keep your shoulders pulled back throughout the day

PLEASE remember that the photos you see on IG are just a QUICK snapshot of someone. Posed and flexing on the left photo and two seconds later on the right I am completely relaxed, hunched, and standing with bad posture. So many people use Instagram to show off their perfect bodies but people don't see the other side behind it and they compare themselves and wish they could look perfect 24/7 like the "Instagram models" do. The models you see on Instagram don't even look like their photos the majority of the time unless they walk around flexing and posed everywhere like a statue. 💃🏼
Social media causes people to compare themselves and feel bad about their appearance and I'm here to say I'm guilty of comparing myself also. 🙋🏼 It does absolutely no good besides lower your confidence. When I see these photos it reminds me that there is way more behind the edits, photoshops, posing, etc. People choose and post their best photo's but I'm here to show you both sides and I know it's said a lot these days but I'm here to remind you that you are BEAUTIFUL no matter if you're posing or relaxed, wearing make up or not, standing in good/bad lighting, or if you're thick or thin. You have the choice to be positive about your body and love yourself how you are or during the process if you're trying to make a change. 💖

Three-Move Circuit for a Perfect CrossFit Booty:
CrossFit is all about high-intensity WODs (workout of the day), so here's a quick and intense one you can do at home or the gym that's only eight minutes long. It may seem short and basic, but holy booty burn! Eight minutes will seem so long for your butt and thighs, plus your heart rate will be soaring, and your sweat dripping!
The Workout: Complete this three-move circuit as many times as you can for eight minutes, with no resting between exercises if possible. Aim for three to four rounds. - 10 alternating backward lunges
- 20 step-ups (10 on the right, 10 on the left)
- 30 air squats.
