You can call it an inspirational post, you can unfollow me cause you’re sick of seeing me half naked, but I’ve struggled what seems like my whoooole life with my body. Hating my height, hating my weight, hating how pale I am. Whatever it was, I picked it apart. But I finally started doing this thing where I treated my body like the tool it was. Instead of hating it and eating food for comfort, I decided to fuel myself. And though the progress is slow and frustrating and sometimes I break down and eat like a drunk leprechaun, it is all soooo worth it to finally feel like a worthy athlete than someone I rolled my eyes at and put down everyday. This will be the last one I post until I get my six pack abs on! I hope all of you decide to use your body for the wondrous things it can do and EMBRACE THE SHIT OUT OF IT. Every week I have a ritual to set myself an intention for the week. This time my intention is to spread lots n lots of laughter and smiles around. Smiling more at strangers, making people more laugh, being sillier than I already am 😬, having random chats with people and making people feel seen. I know myself how great it feels being recognized.
