Why is it that some people love to scare themselves whilst others don’t like it?
Some of the reason may have to do with your experience as a child.
An adrenaline rush is your body’s way of responding to risk. You get a sudden burst of energy to respond to the fear-inducing situation, whatever it may be.
In these moments, you get increased alertness and your muscles are primed for immediate action. After you experience fear and an adrenaline rush, you may momentarily feel more powerful from conquering fear 💪🏼 This may increase your ability to respond appropriately in real life adrenaline situations, because your body will have a form of muscle memory that enables it to respond in a similar fashion as it did during your adventure.
