BRO BULK VS LEAN BULK
Too many guys use a "bulk" as a reason to stop tracking Calories and eat everything in sight.
You say to yourself, "I'm going to bulk up", then you basically just completely blow your diet. Your brain thinks that this will go towards building muscle, but in reality, you just end up getting fat.
The truth is, if you really want to build muscle, you should lean bulk. This means STARTING your bulk when you are lean (you can see your abs). Work hard in the gym and eat enough to gain 1-2lbs per month. -
You can grow on as little as an extra 250 Calories per day (over maintenance). To put things in perspective, this is like 2 large bananas. Most "bros" go overboard and eat 2 tubs of ice cream per day. "Gotta grow, bro!"
On top of this, I see bros slamming protein shake after protein shake. They end up eating like 300g of protein per day from just shakes and wonder why their boxer shorts have holes torn out of the ass.
Bottom line. Building muscle takes time. You can't eat like an obese person and not expect to get obese. That's the equivalent of a Lannister not paying their debts.
