Goodmorning from Las Vegas guys and girls! Feeling great this morning! Been focusing a lot on my diet lately and it's definitely paying off. I'm really happy with how my physique is shaping up!

Current bulking physique update. Heaviest I’ve ever been (102.7kg/ 225.9lb) @ 186cm tall. These photos are reality: unedited, relaxed on the left, flexed on the right, no pump/ lighting or advantageous angles. Don’t see any use in editing these, last thing I’d want to do is give the impression I spend my lift at sub 8% body fat. Eating in a surplus will yield some additional body fat, but if you’re wanting to grow & actually make considerable change to your strength levels/ body composition it’s a necessary evil.

Haven’t been tracking my intake as it hasn’t been at the top of my priorities, but current goals are to tighten things back up a touch by implementing more control whilst still making strength gains & enjoying my training. If you’ve spent any time away from tracking or controlling your intake, get back into things by either hitting what you have previously, or resuming eating at maintenance. Give yourself every chance at every opportunity to get the job done on as many calories as possible, and don’t shoot yourself in the foot by eating less than what you might be able to get away with.

should others' opinions impact what you think about yourself?

i feel like we would all be quick to answer that with a firm no. but, how often do we find ourselves wondering what someone else thinks of us or doing things solely because they're trending and society approves. sometimes when we hear outside opinions we feel pressured to change our own. of course we want to be liked and admired by the people surrounding us, so can really be blamed for doing so?
i was thinking this this morning while working out. there were at least 3 people who saw me at 7 AM and commented about my physique. "wow you lost a lot of weight!?" "omg i almost didn't recognize you!!" blah blah. granted, they probably haven't ran into me in months & i was fasted and probably still had my morning face on in all its glory 👹 but at first i felt kind of awkward. did i do too much? am i too lean? shit.
and hey, maybe you think i am too. that's alright, it's your opinion. and here's mine- i'm healthy. i'm strong. i don't feel lethargic all day. im actually eating more now after switching up my diet base. i enjoy working out, cardio has become therapy. i bulked hard last summer and cut slowly since december. i had a good & fun time cutting. i didn't strain myself to hit a specific weight. i went out a boat load of times and yolo-ed a lot of weekends. i lived & experienced life. i didn't restrict myself. i am proud of what i've accomplished. and the best part? i'm genuinely happier and more confident, not just in regards to my physique but who i am as a being, than i think i've ever been.
my point here? before we enter situations that can be overly opinionated and leave us overthinking or going around trying to change what we've been doing / what we think about certain things- feel strongly about your own.
this applies to everything, my friends. ask yourself questions every now and again. answer them honestly. why are doing this? how do you feel doing this? are you enjoying this? stay true to who YOU are and always do the things that bring YOU happiness. if you feel strongly about yourself and carry yourself with sureness and confidence, others will treat you the same ✨🌻

Macro friendly protein brownies with 5 ingredients (can be made with 4 with tighter macros but i added in a handful of pecans for taste and texture)

Ingredients
1. 4 ripe bananas
2. 150g smooth peanut butter
3. 25g cocoa powder
4. 2 scoops of @proteinempire chocolate diet whey protein
5. 30g crushed pecan nuts (optional)

Method
1. Mash up the bananas
2. Mix with peanut butter (warm for 30 seconds to help)
3. Add in the cocoa powder and protein powder and mix
4. Pour evenly into a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes (25 if you prefer softer brownies)
5. Toppings optional (i melted 35g of white chocolate buttons then drizzled on top, macros with and without are below)

Been wanting to hit a #PR since i lost 20 lbs(173-150). Weighted in at 152 lbs and hit 455 for an ez pr at a lower weight(3xbodyweight)☺☺. Felt easy, but my legs were still sore from squats..decided to hit 430 for a rep pr. Got 2, could've done 3 if i didnt hesitated and started my hips even higher 😅. Happy either way rebuilding going goooooooooood. 8weeks out!!!!! #powerlifting
