#TBT during my first pregnancy. I gained 22kg and 20kg during my first and second pregnancy respectively, suffered moderate baby blues, and struggled to accept the fact that my body will never look the same anymore. I delivered both babies through C-Sections so any mothers that gone through the same would know that for months we struggled with numbness in our stomach due to the incisions. It took me a year to lose the weight simply through consistently working out and eating well. Some days are good days, some days are bad days. .
But know this, we, women are built for toughness. If our body is well equipped to adapt another human being inside us, then there is no reason why it would not adapt to get back to the way it once were. It may not be perfect but hey, chin up girl, those imperfections are battle scars. We are tigers who earned our stripes. So take a deep breath, take it one day at a time, stay consistent, surround yourself with people that support you, and embrace the journey. .
