1 day out vs. 1 month post show. I love how evenly I filled back out. One of the biggest mental challenges I go thru is transitioning from a lean bean to a normal human. I posted this on my story yesterday, and after thinking about it this morning, I wanted to make a post about it. There are MANY different reasons people work out. Some want to lose weight, some want to gain, some want to increase their endurance, some want to do it for their health. There are so many different reasons, yet everyone assumes that everyone just wants to be skinny, so once you get "there" (whatever "there" is), what's the point of working out still. Wrong. I may be "there" to some people, but skinny isn't everyone's goal. To be lean enough to have some muscle definition, along with being strong; THATS my goal💪🏼 Appreciate that everyone has different goals, and with that being said, be okay with having your own goals! Don't let others or society tell you how you should look/what your goal should be. You wanna be strong? Be strong. You wanna be thick fit? Girl, be thick! Your goal is up to you and only you😘

Tip: halfway through the leg extensions, you will see me turn my feet outwards. Your quads are made up of 4 muscles (hence the nickname "quads"😉) and rotating your feet out allows you to hit the outermost muscle of the group.

Also, the only reason I have my hands behind my butt on the adductor machine is because I have short legs and I like there it hits better when I sit forward. That's all😊🤷🏻‍♀️

A couple of my favorites from arm day💪🏼 Using the Smith machine machine for an overhead press allows me to get a cleaner press, and makes it harder with lower weight. Also, a tricep push & pull down. These are just a couple of the workouts of my arm day that make them burn so good😏🔥 (magnetic case is @selfie_z for anyone asking)

WISHING doesn't get you anywhere, WORKING for it does.👌🏼 Today, I was going through old gym pictures and started to feel bad for myself. I started to wish I was as lean as I was in the past, but guess what? The last week or two I've been lazy, I've skipped workouts, and my diet has been shit. None of which are going to help me towards the goal of getting leaner. Why should I have the right to "wish" I looked like i did, if I'm not willing to put in the work to get there?! Exactly! I don't. So I got my ass up, got ready for the gym and have stuck to my macros 100%. The same idea goes for wishing you looked like other people. Don't "wish" you looked like them if you're not willing to do the work. Trash the pity party, put your big girl pants on and start working for what you want. Only YOU can put in the work to end up where YOU want to be👏🏼
