The adventure continues!
This fall season 🍂Big Kids Club🍁presents:🌎All About Us🌎
Together we will celebrate others, ourselves, and develop a sense of personal expression.
Today we traveled to UBC to visit the Museum of Anthropology.
Commuting by bus, and then on foot, together we trekked.
We found ourselves accompanied by towering trees and lush terrain. A woodsy scent lingered in the air, “What was here before all these buildings?” After enjoying a tasty snack, it was time to head inside the museum. Instantly we were immersed in Indigenous culture. The children’s faces lit up as we moved from exhibit to exhibit. “Look! This way! We have to see that!” With a map of hands on artifacts provided by the museum, we found ourselves on a quest to seek out what we could feel and interact with next.
As our time at the museum came to a close, we all seemed to be thinking the same thing. “Can we stay longer?” Thank you to the @moa_ubc for this insightful experience.
Tune in next week as we continue down the path of self discovery 🔎
