Just 37 miles outside of Philadelphia you'll find the quiet little river town of New Hope, nestled among scenic farmland, and historic buildings. Not only is the town filled with a variety of boutiques and restaurants to make either a day trip or date night worth the drive, but it is also home to the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad 🚂 where you can take a glimpse into the golden age of rail travel. On board these trains you can experience fine dining while listening to an informative commentary on the area's history and various points of interest. The trains run year round, but two particularly special excursions include the Fall Foliage tours in October and their annual North Pole Express. .
