Kayla and Abraham has the chance to look around a Patrol Car, shake hands and talk to Officer Markvolsky last week during Spring Break. We decided to take a ride around town with all the kids, yes even Sebastian since we can’t do much outside the house as a family. Well during our outing we had a little incident in a parking lot and had to call the cops lol. Well blessing in disguise that was… The kids were so excited and would not stop talking about their visit with Deputy Markvolsky. When I tell you this guy was so AMAZING, he was! I was so tempted to have him hold Sebastian for the picture but I contained myself as I watched Abraham and Kayla take a pic with the Deputy. It’s such a happy and sad moment to have to think about everything before you do it, even a simple thing like handing your baby off to a complete stranger to take a picture with their “germy” clothes. One day.. one day for sure… we are so looking forward to the day when we can all go enjoy the world.
Sebastian is a determined little boy and I know that our SCID fear free days are coming.. I can feel it. He’s walking now, and has learnt how to get himself out of his “space” in the living room. While I was in the kitchen the other day this child of mine got out without making a noise and when I noticed he was already heading to the door!!! YES THE DOOR!!!! Now we have had to put more weight and “blockage” to keep him from coming out of his designated “Area”! WE are in for it now!! HE can walk! He can scream! He can be quite demanding for a 1 year old!
PS... i have been sahring this pic everywhere because it's a big deal! lol
