Grocery shopping for the wknd went well! I came in $45 UNDER budget & saved over $30 using coupons!! .
Mommies who are in a rut, I need you to know that as long as you want things to change & you work towards the change, THINGS WILL CHANGE!! .
I remember when my husband & I would look in our acct before heading to the pick up dinner for the family & see that we had $12 in our acct...& we still needed to eat for a few more days before getting paid.
Times were so rough... so most nights, we ate the cheap, unhealthy $1 carby stuff just to fill us!
Even though the kids have no idea that we struggled because they ALWAYS are first, it touches my heart that we are able to shop for exactly what we want when we want now! .
Being able to feed my babies nutritious foods, fresh organic produce, better quality, grass fed meat, etc. means so much to me because of where we came from & the new knowledge that I have gained about nutrition, creating healthy eating habits & eating yourself to health!
I'm so thankful for the lessons we learned through our poverty that led us to skilled financial decisions & better appreciation for this better life.
God is amazing!
