10km progression run on the #treadmill this morning ✅ Avg pace 5:25/km Avg HR 148bpm. I opted to do a progression run because I wanted some speed but my legs were heavy and tired but I knew if I gradually increased my speed I could eventually get them to play along 😂 The workout was 2km @ 6:00/km, 2km @ 5:42/km, 2km @ 5:27/km, 2km @ 5:13/km, 1km @ 5:00/km, 1km @ 4:28/km. Felt great! On another note, hubby and I have registered for the Great South Run! My lovely sister in law is going to babysit. I'm so excited because this will be our first time racing together and he wants me to pace him because he wasn't happy with how he did last year. He does triathlons but running has always been his weakest link so I'm so really pumped to do this together! 😊 Anyone else doing the #greatsouthrun ? Happy humpday friends 🐪.
