15. Here follows a series of photos that proves the universe will not make my lire easy and that you should have the right lens for the right job. Here's a note I wrote to myself concerning the following few days shooting....Focusing verdict after 3 days playing around in full manual with zoom assist. Auto focus is okay, still not crisp. All the Orang-utans I shot using peak highlighting were out of focus. Again this could all be the result of having zoomed to 55mm @f/4 shoot subjects beyond 10m. Lens is not fit for purpose user not fit for purpose. Or peak highlighting assist is shit... trust your eye damn you! Self anger aside, this beautiful out of focus broadbill had a mate and were flirting about a clearing. I was to busy admiring them to pay attention to my photographic skill set. This has become a bad habit of mine lately, I sit watch and observe. Too busy experiencing the moment. Mindfulness is bullshit it doesn't produce great wildlife photography.
