Congratulations Coen Jackson with the correct guess of Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
@seantracey66 - Quote "The satellite tag off the big Swordfish (350kg + ), we Tagged with Paul Worsteling, @captnickstanczyk & @bluefinkid has detached. It stayed on for 127 days. All indications are that the fish did not die, but rather the tag has just come away from the fish early. This happens sometimes with satalite tags, but it still has shown some interesting behaviours and movements. The movie below (see Facebook for realtime movie) shows the estimated track calculated from the data collected on the tag. The orange & red surfaces show the error in the estimated position. The closest town from where the tag popped off was Lakes Entrance. (130km)

A year ago today I reeled in the biggest and most magnificent fish I have ever seen. I've never caught or seen another billfish up close, and I'll never forget the feeling this day gave me! #broadbill #swordfish #venice #grundens #WEAREFISHING

The whitehead's #broadbill (Calyptomena whiteheadi) is an endemic species to the montane forests of Borneo. Named after John Whitehead, an ornithologist that explored Borneo in the late 1800s. Today, scientists are still discovering new species on a daily basis in the vast forests of #borneo. Taken by adventure guide @charles808 on #natgeoexpeditions Borneo Wildlife Adventure

15. Here follows a series of photos that proves the universe will not make my lire easy and that you should have the right lens for the right job. Here's a note I wrote to myself concerning the following few days shooting....Focusing verdict after 3 days playing around in full manual with zoom assist. Auto focus is okay, still not crisp. All the Orang-utans I shot using peak highlighting were out of focus. Again this could all be the result of having zoomed to 55mm @f/4 shoot subjects beyond 10m. Lens is not fit for purpose user not fit for purpose. Or peak highlighting assist is shit... trust your eye damn you! Self anger aside, this beautiful out of focus broadbill had a mate and were flirting about a clearing. I was to busy admiring them to pay attention to my photographic skill set. This has become a bad habit of mine lately, I sit watch and observe. Too busy experiencing the moment. Mindfulness is bullshit it doesn't produce great wildlife photography.
