I do get emotional every time I watch The Caves of Androzani because it reminds me of my PhD writing up days 4 years ago. Watching on Twitch was very special this time - it was like tuning the telly on to watch it because it's due to be on the schedule.
Rewatching it after 3 years since the last time and as a more mature person, Peter Davison did give one of his best performances ever in his whole career. You can clearly see he did put his heart on his performance and wow...the definitive regeneration story (and my favourite Fifth Doctor one). This scene sums up a great memory of this story. I like that sense of curiosity and happiness on Peter's Fifth Doctor face that reminds me of my lab days throughout my life. I'm so glad that he's one of the finest UK telly actors of our time but...still very underrated though.
