Its funny that we wait all year to express gratitude on one day when most of the time, our thoughts are spent on turkey and stuffing our faces, not filling our hearts and thinking of graces. Here's 3 things I'm grateful for today, just because.

1. I am thankful I gave the ability to experience life in this body capable of movement. It is resilient and amazing in any state.
2. I am grateful for my open mind, my disposition to question everything allows me to be empathetic and understanding for others situations
3. I am thankful that life has not allowed me to live easy and according to plan. I have learned flexibility in more ways than just backbends, and I'm ready to see what else I can stretch myself to achieve #grateful

#poseoftheweek: Bridge Pose •Setu Bandhasana

As you perform Bridge Pose, you will become more alert in both body and mind. This rejuvenating back bend will open your chest up and keep your spine flexible. While beginners can practice it safely, skilled practitioners can still experience its many benefits. Setu Bandhasana will also help to prepare you for more intense back bends. This posture is relatively simple and quite exhilarating. If you find it difficult to hold the lift in your pelvis, slide a block or bolster beneath your sacrum and rest the pelvis on it for support. In contrast, if you are looking to deepen the stretch, lift your heels off the floor once in Bridge Pose and push your tailbone up towards the pubis. Once the tailbone is lifted, stretch the heels back to the floor.
