If it weren't so unhealthy, it might actually be funny to list the number of excuses that I'm able to come up with in order to avoid going to the gym. When I've worked out in the past, it almost always involved some form of intensive cardio only. But, here's the thing: skinny still sags. So, in order for operation bridal body to be a success, I knew that I needed to seek out the right trainer. Jaimi definitely understands that my long term goal is to be strong (in case I need to kick some ass 😂), toned, and super fit. Teaching me how to weight train is the equivalent of instructing a toddler. We're starting from the ground up. So, if you need some basic, beginner fitness tips, let me know and I'll write a post about what I'm learning. Today (among other things), we used a twenty-five pound weight to work both my butt and my arms simultaneously. I'm super sore, but ready to go again tomorrow. 💪🏻

Bridal body progress. 👰💪 After loosing my motivation for a few weeks...I'm happy to be back in the zone this past couple of weeks. Really enjoying my gym classes and PT sessions and of course Yoga and enjoying all my nutritious food. Starting to see progress too which is always a good boost. Don't miss out on the most important meal of the day. Make yourself a SMOKED SALMON AND CREAM CHEESE BAGEL the night before and take it with you to work... INGREDIENTS:
• 1/2-1 wholemeal bagel (cupped hand)
• 1 thumb sized portion of Philadelphia lightest cream
cheese
• 1 palm sized portion of smoked salmon

METHOD:
1. Slice the bagel in half and toast until golden brown.
2. Spread the cream cheese onto the bottom half of the toasted bagel.
3. Arrange the slices of smoked salmon evenly on top of the cream cheese and rest the toasted top half of the bagel on top. (If you are having half a bagel, you can always make up a whole one and save the other half for a snack later or the next day.)

Treat your H2B tonight with STEAK AND CHIPS for dinner... guilt free!

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 palm sized fillet or rump steak
• 1 cupped hand sized baking potato • 1 thumb sized portion olive oil
• 1 fistful of mixed veg
• Salt and pepper to season.

METHOD:
1. Heat oven to 220C. Cut the potato into wedges. Place on an oven tray and drizzle over the olive oil and some sea salt. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
2. Cook steak in a pan with salt and seasoning to how you like it. Serve the steak with the wedges and veg.
