I was literally going to post this picture earlier just because I was feelin a selfie from my @workingagainstgravity check in. —Now I have a different reason.. nothing gets me more fired up than hearing that someone, let alone a TEACHER, locally, is telling girls AND boys what they should and shouldn’t weigh, if they should have muscles or not, and probably not giving any useful knowledge or tools to live a healthy life. 🤦🏽♀️ instead, giving their arrogant opinion of how people should look. When girls and boys in elementary & middle school are young, they don’t need this type of negative influence in their life. They need to be taught about nutrition and exercise and having a healthy relationship with their body. That’s why I love @crossfit 🖤 It’s so much more than working out. It’s our community full of people on the same page. Now we have so many parents in the gym that have their kids working out or eating better or interested in fitness. It’s good for everyone. I love my job and hoping I can always help to influence people about living a healthy life... I wish people weren’t so close minded and stuck in the time of thinking women shouldn’t have muscles and all men should.
