When your family is sick what's the one thing you HAVE to buy? I am seriously about to do a blog post on my "Oh no! We're sick!" shopping list. But I woke up today and I could breathe through my nose for the first time in almost a week (woot), I got more than two hours of sleep (🙌🏻) and both girls slept through the night. In the last 24 hours I may have had to go to Urgent Care, The ER, the ENT doctor, and the pediatrician before putting Vapor night lights in all of the outlets, do a menthol and mint bubble bath, rub Vic's Vapor Rub on their feet/chest, use a NoseFrida (still gagging thinking about it), breathing treatments, alternate Tylenol/Motrin until 2am, force Bucky to drink hot tea and take his NyQuil, remember probiotics (little girls on antibiotics = enough said), use a special cream prescription for little girls on antibiotics (bless), forgo a late night of editing in exchange for bedtime cuddles that didn't end and leave a sink full of dirty dishes from homemade soup in the kitchen - but I'm pretty hopeful yesterday was the worst day for them (and most tiring for me). I appreciate all of the prayers. Sick kids are never fun. @buckcharles tried so hard to help - but now he's on Day 2 of this, and the first two days I felt like I got hit by a truck. Pray for him, too. He's sick because he cuddles them - I told him he's been welcomed to parenthood. Today's agenda - bleach and Lysol the whole house.
