How do nursing parents do it? By feeding any time, any where, and any way that works for the parent and child.
Support parents to feel comfortable nursing in all different environments by giving a smile to the parent. This tiny, effortless act of smiling does more than you know.
This sign of approval shifts our culture back to a place where human milk is normal, or maybe even awesome. Its more than just making that parent's day, or possibly reassuring someone who is nervous, its making a difference in this world that brings us closer together, that reminds us that we are all human.
We are always looking for more volunteers, apply at www.guelphchc.ca/volunteer 🍁 🍂 🍃

WE Breastfeed volunteers are parents like you who have breastfed their own children.
@Regranned from @rematriate_ - My name is Ki-shi papso kinew-ikwe. Which means "Circling Eagle Woman." in Ojibway. From my mother's side I'm Ojibway/ Anishinaabe from Waywayseecappo First Nations, Manitoba (Treaty 4). I'm also Coast Salish from Tsleil-Waututh Nation, North Vancouver. My Government Name its Elisha Williams aka "Indigenous Barbie". I'm a pugglier owner & life giver of 2 beautiful son's. Derrick who is 12 and my recent son I gave birth to 4 weeks ago named Quill Odayin. My son Derrick is named after my brother Charles Derrick Oudie who tragically passed away in 2015 at the age of 26. I always admired my brother growing up, he was an athletic hockey player who graduated on time and received high marks afterwards in courses he took. Me and my family are trying to get his name #JusticeforCharlesOudie out because like many of us we are affected by the injustice our people are still going though with the Police (VPD) & investigations with MMIGW and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Boy's and Men. I have faith one day our families will have the justice and closure we need. Prayers go out to these families.
