☀️Good Morning☀️ Remember eating healthy doesn't mean you have to give up things you enjoy, just means you need to make some adjustments.
Use whole grain bread, substitute avocado for cheese and maybe even leave out the bacon or opt for a meat lower in fat and cholesterol. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 Here is how I try to avoid all the fat a typical bacon breakfast sandwich consist of.
Whole Wheat English Muffin
Egg fried over medium
1 piece of Bacon
(I would usually add a slice of tomato too) 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 I only use one slice of bacon, it gives me the taste of bacon but not all the calories and fat of 2 & 3 slices would give. I use a egg fried over easy or medium because the running yoke gives the sandwich a little moisture that I would typically get from cheese. And the avocado gives it a little creaminess.
Next time you order a sandwich, try omitting cheese for a healthier fat such as avocado.
