🧠 Pushing the core a little differently tonight and challenging the brain a little extra. Tonight’s core challenge came from variations of the ‘V-Sit Landmine Throw’ and is a mental challenge due to 1) “fear” of the bar falling on you and 2) the multiple things your brain needs to process while performing the movement (ex. Keeping legs up, properly catching the bar, keeping the chin tucked in with the core engaged, breathing properly etc.)
10x two hands down the middle.
10x right hand.
10x left hand.
10x left to right throws.
🤕 With the average Olympic Barbell weighing in between 40-45lbs. only attempt this once you’re comfortably able do movements such as a med ball slam and catch. Or able to do a landmine throw from a normal 90 degree squat position or flat seated position.
