Mocked up another new product on my Integra for @ChaseBays on #TodaysCarProgress. New Brake Line Relocation with SS hard line in the engine bay. Used our “F fitting on the rear brake hardlines (two lines low in the engine bay that runs to rear calipers). It allows 2 lines to splice to one so it can work with the single outlet bias valve. I don’t know whatever. Also routed the @ChandlerAutosport Engine Harness. #ChaseBays

Mocked up an all new redesigned Honda Civic / Integra inInterior BBE Brake Line Relocation Kit this evening. We’re changing to a stainless hard line in the engine bay. Fun Fact: The Honda Brake Line Relocation / Tuck was actually our first official product on our website back in 2007.

It’s been copied quite a few times but we’re the only ones to set it up properly with our Adjustable Bias Valve that replaces the stock proportioning valve (not to mention companies that give the wrong size master cylinder which makes the pedal WAY too stiff 😑). This redesign will put us many steps ahead of any folks who copied it. We’ll show the interior side tomorrow, it’s really cool. 👻 #ChaseBays

So I changed the brake pedal leverage ratio since I deleted the booster and drilled a new hole about 1/2" higher than original. I was really surprised how much difference it made so to get more leverage I lowered the mounting point of the pedal arm to braket and raised the rubber grommet for the brake light switch. Now dis faka is action!! The rod for the master cylinder is 1-1/2" higher than stock and it almost feels like I still have a booster!! Much mahalo to @nomnom83 for reminding me about changing the leverage ratio. When you put in an engine twice the size of what the car came with, you run into fitment issues everywhere. @rearwheelsti did a nice job with this tight radius 90° from #vibrant and yes, it's an EBay turbo, I'll be pushing maybe 8 psi, I want to get dynotuned for 300-350hp to be safe with the Rx-8 transmittion, when that blows I'll upgrade to either the t2 5 speed(I'll still be able to use my adapters) or a CD009, and a better turbo, and tune for 500hp+

Brake booster failed so I figured delete it and see how it feels. New master cylinder and made another heatshield that covers better. Love the look without the booster an having more room to wrench but after first test drive I'm not sure if I like the way it feels. Probably just need to get used to it. Anybody else run without one? All Chase Bays Honda Brake Line Relocations include a Chase Bays Adjustable Bias Valve. This kit shown is an inInterior kit for Brake Booster Eliminator (inside car, yes you can keep heat/ac). Others who sell them for Brake Booster Eliminator don’t get how brakes work so they just put the stock Honda proportioning valve in there and call it a day.
