Recently when I've been out and about, I've noticed that quite a few people I walk past/ see on the metro wear real fur hooded jackets from @canadagoose Most likely from @end_clothing in Newcastle.
@canadagoose claim that they produce their pieces with "real integrity", are "ethically sourced" and they are "fully transparent" and the animals are treated well.
This is a load of 💩 tbh. (If they were fully transparent, they'd show us behind the scene video footage on their website 🤔). They use fur from a Coyote - a member of the dog family. The fur industry is so cruel and violent. These animals are kept in cages/ small boxes and can be poisoned with the hot engine exhaust from a truck/ have clamps applied to their mouths and rods inserted into their anuses and electrocuted. How is that ethical, humane, responsible and something free from suffering? 😔 It makes me sick, and I don't think a lot of people realise they're wearing real fur and where it comes from. If you do... well you suck🖕🏼 You wouldn't wear your dog, so why wear them?
If you do own fur, you can donate it to animal sanctuaries to help keep animals warm.
