This #Kingpin series has been really enjoyable so far, if slightly predictable. The art is clean, and bright, and you're able to instantly recognize the varying characters that cameo throughout.
Brief recap: (not really a *SPOILER* ahead, but be wary) This is a redemption story, so far, about an old villain, who is more identifiable as human than most. The redemption song appears to be covering up some of the old Kingpin tendencies, but leaves us wondering if the ends justify the means in a "Dexter-lite" style.
The real focus of this story, tho, is our story teller, who must decide if she can tell the crime lord's tale justly, and if it's all really worth it.
I think we're going to pick up speed here soon, and I'm enjoying seeing all our Hell's Kitchen friends, so stay tuned.
