Greetings People, my name is Teagan. I come to Wigglin' Home Boxer Rescue from excellent upbringing. My mom and dad fell upon some very hard times medically. To be certain I would be well cared for, they contacted WHBR. They had cared for me since I was a puppy, teaching me the right way to behave with my Boxer manners. They were sad to give me up, but showed their love for me by picking a great rescue.
My foster dad thinks that I am Batman with my beautiful all black mask and my alternating light brown and black stripes. My body isn’t the most svelte, but I’m working on firming up the areas that matter most. I think of myself more as Robin, the trusty sidekick. I like to follow and help keep you company. Dad just wants to build me up to be the hero to make sure that I get all of the credit.
Let's discuss my house manners, as everyone says that I have some of the best around. My willingness to share my food dish and take my time eating has gotten praise from my family. If I need to go outside to use the grass, I can even jump up and down and paw at the door handle to get your attention. And once you say, "outside", boy does that make me happy! “Car ride” or “let's go”, man oh man, that makes me twirl and jump.
Mom and dad invite me up on the couch, too, when I give them the eye. That’s one of my favorite spots. Sometimes I like to sit right next to you, but not right on top of you like the other kids in the house. That’s not the way mom taught me. The other place I like to hang out with you is on the floor at your feet.
I would like to mention my sleeping arrangements. Your bed. Is it nice? Does it have any room for me? Well, of course it does. I don’t take up much room, and I will give you a space to sleep next to me. See, I like to lay down at your feet, don’t worry, I’m very considerate of your needs for space and don’t encroach too much.
Can we talk about what I need from you? It’s not much really, just an accepting dog friend, or children, and a fenced in yard to do some light exerc
