This drives me bonkers because often these same individuals are dehydrated and not eating the recommended daily amount of 35-40 grams of fibre or adequate amounts of water, which should be the first recommendation!! ☝️ It is recommended that we have 2-3 healthy bowel movements daily. Is this you? Do you suffer from diarrhea or constipation? Or do you rely on supplements, coffee or laxatives to keep you “going”?! Long term use of laxatives can cause electrolyte and mineral deficiencies, dehydration, further constipation and lazy bowels...oh my!! 😱
