The basketball players in this video are grinding hard in Bradenton, Florida with Jarrett Stephens (@sweatnow_smilelater), the skill development and strength/ conditioning Coach at the IMG Academy. All of the training with @sweatnow_smilelater is multidimensional, where players are challenged with doing several things at the same time. @sweatnow_smilelater is an expert at combining different drills that challenge the players both physically and mentally. The goal is to help players build the SKILLS and the mental toughness that it takes to be successful on the basketball court. 1๏ธโƒฃ #BosuBall - 10 toe taps, jump into squat (hold for a second upon landing), 10 reps
2๏ธโƒฃ #SideLunge drag - dragging a 5-10 lb plate & holding kettle bell (can't forget about those adductors ladies ๐Ÿ˜œ)
3๏ธโƒฃ Goblet #squat (hold kettle bell out in front of you keeping shoulders down, lats fired!) - hold down in squat for 5 seconds, pop up and immediately back down. 5-10 reps.
Repeat 3-4x ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

If you really want strong, more functional abs, stop doing all those sit up/crunch nonsense! The cores main function is to protect the spine and stabilize the body, so train your core the way it's functioned to work and watch the magic happen! Lately I've been looking at a lot of instability exercises to try on IG and I figured I'd share a few somewhat doable ones! Had to speed up the video a bit to fit, but I absolutely LOVE anything is a challenge! Your core is highly sophisticated make-up of muscles that attach to the spine (deep core) and outside of the spine (outer core) and the BOSU ball is one of my favorite tools to work ALL of them with!
