Bosu Ball Workout 🔵🔥

Happy Hump Day folks 😁 today, @chloesmith0x and I have put together another Booty Twins workout for you. 👏🏻
▫️ This routine is a little more advanced, and requires a good level of core control. I'd recommend this routine to anyone looking for ways to heighten the intensity of their existing training plan, or to anyone who wants to work their core a little more.
▫️
Bosu balls are a great piece of equipment which force the body to balance and utilise core muscles to do so. ▫️ 🔵 1. Lunges - this exercise is more difficult than it looks. Place a mat underneath your balls so they don't slide around! (Elf & safety first 🤓) and try to do a set of 10.

🔵 2. Squats - bring your balls closer together and place a foot on top of each. Complete 15 squats.

🔵 3. Plank - plank on the ball for 30 seconds whilst touching your shoulders as shown.

🔵 4. Mini circuit - Spider-Man crawl into Bosu lift x3 into Bosu jump x3. Be CAREFUL when jumping onto your bosu ball ‼️ practice the movement first before going into the circuit ✅ no injuries please 🤗

🔵 repeat the whole circuit 4 times 👊🏻

Bird dog exercise on step & bosu ball 🐤🐶 Holy crap! The name sounds cute but there's nothing cute about this variation 😅 This really challenges shoulder, core & spinal stability 😤 This was my 1st attempt & I was very surprised at the clear difference between my right & left side 😵 I could actually feel that it was difficult for me to maintain proper scapular position on my left, so I kept tipping forward 🙃😝🤣 Not pretty, I know 🙈I did 3 sets of 10 of these & you can see how I felt the burn in the end of the video 🔥I will master these!!

Last time I was on Oahu, I took a surf lesson from a former personal trainer. Part of his pre-water routine was putting the new client on this contraption. Imagine: beach sand, bosu ball, board. He had me practice popping up so he could gauge my form and balance. This plan seemed like a GENIUS way to practice in my house, so I bought a cheap short board. THIS. WORKS. It forces you to work with the bosu ball and find your perfect balance. I'm even practicing both goofy and regular so I have more options. Highly recommend. 🏄‍♀️

YOOWWZA!! 🙌🏼💪🏼💯😜❤️Killer #bosuballworkout this morning 👊🏼If you're willing to sweat, turn up some fun music and get your kiddos involved if they are around 😉👍🏼

50 REPS OF EACH:

1) Fast feet on top of BOSU, take out bounce for modification

2) Squat jumps or no jump for modification (50 on each side)

3) Side plank single leg lifts (25 on each side) drop knee for modification

4) Tricep dips with hands on BOSU •
5) Burpee with push-ups, Drop to your knees on the push-up for modification

6) Twisted abs with weight, use no wait for modification

7) Single leg shoulder press (25 reps on each leg) for modification keep both feet on the BOSU

8) Side to side floor hops, for modification take out the bounce

9) Fly jacks (with band around ankles) for modification do a regular jumping jack versus a fly Jack

MODIFICATION = No bosu ball •
** This workout took me 25 minutes and tested my balance, strength and stamina in new ways! Such a fun challenge even if you modify❤️🙌🏼👊🏼💪🏼💯

Celebrating OUR #bosu after my client used it for the first time in our sessions. Yes, it's OURS because I get to put together juicier workouts to help her get even stronger and fitter with this innocent looking piece of equipment! She said she could feel "FIRE" in her core muscles 😂
