My #review of #LockCity #ComicCon: I give it a 6/10. It's a fair #convention yet it was pretty small, but then again, it's the 2nd year, so there's more room to grow. Like #BoroughCon, it's not as heavily advertised, which greatly affected turnout. When it was 3/4pm, many people had left already & the #cosplay contest didn't start until 7pm (kids contest: around 6pm). The #Sheraton's shuttle to/from Metro-North was not running as frequently. Cosplaying in the summer is very uncomfortable in the heat & humidity. The panels were ok, though all were held in oen room. The schedule lacked in quantity & diversity, but they were ok, especially the cosplay posing discussion. Celebrities/voice actors were mainly from Pokemon, which I'm happy about, but I want a little bit more diversity. Nonetheless, I had a good time & I see a lot of potential. This #con needs to get its name out there & advertise themselves more. I recommend this con to someone who is unfamiliar to cons or a 1st-timer. It's much more easier to navigate compared to NYCC or AnimeNext.
