When you are faced with a choice, do you choose to take hard action or do you choose to make the easy excuse?
. 🤷🏼♀️Do you get your workout in or do you say you're too busy? 🤷🏼♀️Do you order the salad or say you'll do better on Monday and get the cheeseburger? 🤷🏼♀️Do you cook a healthy meal at home or instead say, I've had a hard day. I'll just order takeout?
Most people choose the easy excuse over the hard action. How do we know? By their results.
They would rather find a good alibi then struggle for achievement. Excuses offer us the comfort of temporary relief, while achievement is hard! It takes showing up for yourself daily-- making the smart choices to have the results you want. .
Excuses help us feel protected, stay comfortable, take the easy road-- but they lead to heartbreak. That feeling inside that you know you're meant for more, but you haven't been living up to it. It leaves an emptiness of regret. .
And that pain of regret is 1000x harder than any pain it takes to achieve your goals! .
Let go of your excuses, put in the work required to achieve greatness, and be the exception ❤️
