First time ever using this machine. I'm more of a squat, lunge, and resistance-band kind of girl. .

I see a lot of girls using this machine for glutes and decided to try it to form an opinion on the best way to maximize glute isolation. .
.
▪️Keep your hips squared to the front as the leg straightens and pushes back. This will be easiest if the hips are stretched out properly in your warmup. The more flexible you are, the further the leg can extend backwards while maintaining hip position.
.
▪️Focus on pushing through your heel all the way to the ending position. Too much weight in the toe will remove tension from the glutes.
.
▪️Maintain control and avoid using momentum. Squeeze and hold as the glute flexes.

If your goal is to build a booty, keep in mind there's so much more involved than just a "glute-isolation" machine like this. Don't rely on thousands of reps on here to grow! .
