'It looks too new and prestine ever to have been read by anyone else, but it has been: it keeps falling open at the most delightful places as the ghost of its former owner points it to me to things i've never read before.' 84, charing cross roads by Helene HAnff.
I really love buying second-hand books bcz they fit my small budget. My first english book I bought online was a used one. It was A beautiful copy of my favourite book ever, City of thieves by David Benioff for a really low price. In Algeria its hard to find a used copy of an english book, but I personally love visiting second-hand bookstores in quest of any english book available, or for the mere pleasure to admire those literary treasures in arabic and french. 'Librairie de victor hugo' is a true escape for french literature amateurs. Honestly, there is a great variety of used books in a good conditions. So, it doesn't matter how you read or how you get your books. Just matters that you read.' The guardian. At 100/200 da a book, just about anyone can afford it.

“Abbi mi aveva insegnato a collezionare isole galleggianti.

Siri Rava Hjelm Jacobsen, “Isola”, @iperborea 2018

Le Isole Faroe. La storia di Fritz e Marita. Abbi e onna.

“They gradually ascended for half a mile, and then found themselves at the top of a considerable eminence, where the wood ceased, and the eye was instantly caught by Pemberley House, situated on the opposite side of a valley, into which the road with some abruptness wound. It was a large, handsome, stone building, standing well on rising ground, and backed by a ridge of high woody hills;—and in front, a stream of some natural importance was swelled into greater, but without any artificial appearance. Its banks were neither formal, nor falsely adorned. Elizabeth was delighted. She had never seen a place where nature had done more, or where natural beauty had been so little counteracted by an awkward taste. They were all of them warm in their admiration; and at that moment she felt that to be mistress of Pemberley might be something!” -Jane Austen, ‘Pride and Prejudice!

4- Autor/a favorito/a.

|| Instwad of being afraid I will become something of feared. ||

I decided to go into this book not listening to reviews or opinions and just enjoying the story for what it was. Honestly, what a refreshing read. I understand that there were was a theme concerning the perception of fragility of females and mortals in this case compared to males and immortals. I gave it a 5⭐️ what did you think? •

Q: What's a sequel you're super excited about?
.
Okay, I know that thrillers are not everyone's cup of tea, but I absolutely adored The Collector Series. Each book focuses on a different member of an FBI team that handles serial murder cases. It's super gripping and all three of the books so far have had me on the edge of my seat. The first book, The Butterfly Garden, delivered a gripping and gruesome story and I didn't think any sequel could live up to it. And then The Roses of May came along. It was spine-tingling and enthralling, and after about the first fifty pages or so, I could not put it down. This was the book that made me realize how much I love thriller novels. I get so excited when I figure out who did it. These are amazing books and you should definitely check out all three. (Trigger warnings for rapenand sexual assualt.)

“Do go on doing a lot of walking and keep up your love of nature, for that is the right way to understand art better and better. Painters understand nature and love her and teach us to see. And there are painters who never do anything that is no good…” ✨
Who is your favourite artist? I have quite an extensive list but my top favourites are Van Gogh, Botticelli, Klimt, Da Vinci and Raphael. I wish I could visit the Louvre and the Van Gogh museums and see those famous works of art in person 🖤
