It's one week until my book is launched! My mom, dad and brother are all flying over from Boston to support me next week and I'm looking forward to it so much. This is a perfect time to share the photo that inspired the bedtime scenes in my book: the scenes which I find some of the most tender and beautiful. It was a photo my own dad took while sitting on a chair in my son's bedroom, while both grandparents helped to put my son to bed one night. They don't get to do it often, so my mom especially loves it when given the chance. Although the photo was translated in my book so that it's my husband in the bedtime scene, it's important to share it because my children have so much love in their lives from many different angles and for that I am so grateful. Artwork by the very talented Foxhat. My Daddy Is My Superhero book, due for publication June 2018.
saw this rusty vintage bottle crate and thought I'd use it as a frame for my book art. matched the beachy green w/ the 7up. this one is currently available if you are looking to decorate with H. email or PM if interested
Alex is thrilled because he gets to watch some shows on his dad's iPad whilst eating cake so I can have another lunchtime meeting. It's rare my kids get the iPad since their dad brings it to work daily so he is pumped!
My husband also has this as his background screen, his favourite illustration from my book of him and our older son Harry, by the talented Foxhat Art.
Win win today 😄
