Two new releases today from some of my MOST favorite series. I don't even know which to read first! πŸ“šπŸ“– Also, starting a new #miagranny with some @malabrigoyarn berries πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— #bonniesbookrecs #goodreads

*sigh* I don't wanna wait another minute before I write my feelings about this book. My heart is still floating in the air. Can I say that this is the best book I've ever read? I think maybe it is. I've ugly cried before, I've fallen in love before, I've even changed my mind before. But this book was a new experience. I've never shed slow, silent tears as I've read. I've never hated somebody that I loved. I've never had my gut twist at the most unexpected moments. It was so real because it was so possible. This is life. This is love. Jenny Han, you have blown me away. Please continue to write all the books πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— #bonniesbookrecs #psistillloveyou #jennyhan #booknerd #yafiction

Where to start with this book?! First off, in order to appreciate this book, you need to be a fan of the classics (Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Emma), as there are A LOT of references and it's basically the same kind of story, set in modern day times. This book is an epistolary novel, which is a book composed of letters, emails, journal entries, etc. After reading books like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Attachments and even Fifty Shades, I've found that I really enjoy this format. This particular story is written in letters from a former foster kid, now a 23 year old woman, to a man who is anonymously funding her grad school education in exchange for these updates on her life and progress in school. In these letters, I saw insight to the character's most intimate emotions and difficult childhood. And although "Mr. Knightley" never writes back, as per their agreement, I saw a love story unfold. There's something devastatingly romantic about written letters. It definitely had the feel of a Jane Austen novel. I'll leave you with the words of Mr. Darcy: "I was in the middle before I knew I had begun." ❀️❀️❀️ #bonniesbookrecs #dearmrknightley #booknerd

Day 5- Currently Reading πŸ“– You by Caroline Kepnes. *When a beautiful, aspiring writer strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he googles the name on her credit card* 😳 Enter the mind of a sociopathic stalker. Man, I needed this! Been going through too many lack luster books lately, I needed a five star read! I read Omens and Visions at the beginning of the year and anxiously waited 8 months for my pre-ordered copy of Deceptions to arrive. Kelley Armstrong did not disappoint! This book has it all: mystery, intrigue, action, romance, drama. I loved it! Can't wait for the next one πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— #bonniesbookrecs #deceptions #booknerd #bookboyfriend

Day 2: Book & Hot Drink πŸ“–β˜•οΈ I've been simultaneously reading and listening to The Girl You Left Behind and I'm so intrigued! I had heard mixed reviews about JoJo Moyes so this is my first book by her and I've decided I really like her style of writing. Has anyone read any of her other books? (If anyone is wondering, I'm participating in the #abookishholiday photo challenge πŸŽ„) #bonniesbookrecs #thegirlyouleftbehind

Library day. They didn't have a few I was looking for so, Bonnie, @greenletterday I browsed through #bonniesbookrecs and grabbed a couple off your list. πŸ“šπŸ“š

I haven't recommended a lot of books this year because sadly, I haven't read many worth mentioning. But I knew that would change as I was anticipating Kasie West's new book, PS I Like You πŸ’— I usually like writing my reviews immediately after finishing the book, when my heart is still floating in the clouds. So this may be a little mushy.
I shelf my Kasie West books next to Rainbow Rowell, Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han because I find their writing styles and flawed characters very similar. So if you like Anna and the French Kiss or To All The Boys I've Loved Before, this book is for you. The story begins with a girl and a boy anonymously exchanging favorite lyrics on a classroom desk and later progresses into the swapping of heartfelt letters (you know how I feel about handwritten letters!). The book is only told from the girl's POV, which I love because it retains this sense of mystery about the other person, so you're reading into every look, every smile, every action. The relationship development, unsurprisingly, is perfectly paced and left me neglecting my family for the last 24 hours as I looked forward to reading the next letter tucked under *my* desk πŸ™Š You know those books that leave you closing your eyes and inhaling every remaining morsel in a deep breath? This was one of those books. #bonniesbookrecs #psilikeyou #booknerd #yareads

@xxnicke got my husband hooked on murder mysteries and now I'm jumping on that bandwagon. This book is 😳😳😳. I'm pretty sure I'll be signing up for self defense classes this summer. For now, adding a few more "drops" to my #dirtysnowconeafghan πŸ’—πŸ§ & enjoying more Harry Potter. Hope you're having a lovely Friday evening 😊

Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I finished Under Different Stars and fell in love with the heroine of the story, Kricket πŸ’— She's my favorite kind of lead female: independent, sassy, and so exactly like me! I inwardly cheered whenever she reacted the same way I would. I am dying to start book 2! ((Also, thanks for all the positive feedback on my picture last night. The afghan sold immediately!πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—)) #bonniesbookrecs #psdonutquilt #booknerd #kricketseries #yafantasy

I absolutely LOVED this book. Sal is a professional soccer player and Kulti is a retired international soccer star- and her new assistant coach. Slow paced stories usually bore me, but in cases such as these, it makes their relationship development that much more intense. I really liked Kulti's character. He was a man of very few words and very deliberate actions (think Barrons from the Fever series or Gabriel from the Cainsville series), which made everything he said or did hit you like a punch in the gut. Sal was one of the most level-headed protagonists I've read in a long time. And she had me laughing throughout the entire book. Looking forward to reading more from this author! πŸ“–πŸ’œ #bonniesbookrecs #kulti #bookboyfriend #goodreads #pstwilightafghan

Shitty weeks require pink pants, pink nails, and a pretty bookmark from a pretty friend @houseofalamode πŸ’—πŸ˜˜ #whateverlifethrowsatyou #bonniesbookrecs

I normally can't stand books with "movie covers", it's a pet peeve. But I had just seen the movie trailer and then saw this book at Target so I bought it on a whim (the trailer made me laugh & I had already decided that I was most definitely going to watch the movie). The story reminds me of a little 90's Paul Walker film by the name of "She's All That". Some of you might remember it? Except this story is slightly more heartwarming and relatable. From what I saw of the trailer, the movie seems to have a few different angles than the book, but I think it will enhance the story. A fun, light (FAST) read. Looking forward to the movie πŸ’— #duff #designateduglyfatfriend #wasitheduffinhighschool #ithinkyes #scratchthat #idefinitelywas #bonniesbookrecs
