Today I was nervous- I saw 6 miles on my training plan, 6 miles is daunting! BUT my time hop has been so inspiring and seeing where I was a year ago is mind blowing.
I had some @nuunhydration in my water bottle, a new @bondi_band headband from the FCM expo and decided to rewatch “Finding Traction” on Netflix. I decided to do it in 2 mile intervals- run 2 miles straight- stop take a drink -run 2 miles straight- stop take a drink- run 2 miles straight. AND I KILLED IT!!! A steady 11:20 min pace ( 5.3 mph 1.5 %incline) I felt great for all 6 miles! I had a little moment at 4.9 thinking this is the longest mile I ever ran, but knew I had 1 mile left, 4 more laps, 11 more minutes and pushed through! So happy with today’s run!!!!! I then walked to cool down and had to stop it at 6.2 - a 10k.... no lie I was a little emotional and had chills seeing that, seeing that I AM capable, my body CAN do it, I AM a runner.
