Fruits which fit in the acid group have a lot of anti-oxidants which help with cleansing your body of free radicals. 🍍
Free radicals are highly energetic hydrogen atoms we can't see thats produced as part of radiation in space, and these little particles are really really good at entering your cells and altering dna but cutting through them like knives!
These fruits tend to be very strong in flavour and can often be sour, but that is what helps with negating the negative affects of these free radicals.
Most common fruits in this group are cherries, berries and pineapples, all which you can agree can sometimes be sour.
