Busy day in work finished off in style with a nice Deadlift / Back session with @beales84. •
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again...I LOVE DEADLIFTS.

First deadlift session in a while was meant to be a light one...but I felt strong so I built it up set by set. •
We followed that up with a nice little Triset;
- Barbell Row
- Lat emphasis Deadlift
- Lat Pulldown

I’ll be sore tomorrow....but a nice sore.

I use a state of the art body composition monitor to analyse my clients measurements. No body-poking calipers needed here!
It uses advanced Bioelectrical Impendance Analysis which sends very low, safe electrical signal around the body to collect the data.
If we train together I offer weekly measurements as part of our sessions.

body composition chat 💪🏼 I started reducing my calories (actually somewhat tracking during this F45 8 week challenge) but adding in way more carbs then I ever have, and while I did get some gains (which I wasn’t actually after, but I’m okay with) I definitely haven’t leaned out. For me, when I eat more carbs, I find myself more lethargic and generally absolutely insatiable. BUT everyone is different. So since I want to lean out now, (especially in my back) I’m attempting to hit a calorie deficit, but switching back to a lower carb and higher fats/proteins diet. It’s fun to experiment, but you must go easy on yourself in the process. 1 cup warm water + juice of 1/2 lemon = WONDERS!

- 1/2 cup raw millet
- 2 cloves garlic - spices: 1 and 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon smoked hot paprika
- 2 leaves of kale
- 1 zucchini
- 1/2 onion
- 4 tablespoons of mixture of seeds and nuts (sunflower, pumpkin, pine nuts)
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon honey + or maple syrup
1. Cook Millet.
2. Saute garlic and onions with spices and add zucchini and kale. Cook for 5 min. Add chives, lemon juice and honey and combine well. Add Millet at the end and serve warm. .
