Too much women wasting their time to do billions of abs crunches everyday because they wants a better abs wall. I was sure that it was really well known now 👉🏼 it's not working that way. 👈🏼 The first things you have to do is to be more active and eating the proper way. Second improve your lifts and/or focus on sports who need power, high intensity training ... stop doing to much garbage work and meet a good coach. You will have results faster and so much "fun" 😜🤓

Jeg oplever mange, der opsøger en træner, fordi de har ramt et plateau i deres træning. De opsøger en træner, fordi plateau i fitnessverden altid er blevet set på, som noget dårligt og noget man hurtigt skal over.
Jeg vil med det her opslag forsøge at vende den tankegang. Er det at ramme et plateau altid en dårlig ting?
Jeg havde på et tidspunkt en klient, der gik fra mig med et fedttab på 10 kilo. Hun vil herefter gerne prøve at træne selv og se, om hun fortsat kunne tabe sig. Hun havde ikke problemer med at holde sin vægt, men hun tabte sig ikke yderligere. Hun opsøgte mig igen og var meget ked af den situation - at hun ikke kunne tabe sig mere. Jeg synes, det var helt fantastisk. Ikke nødvendigvis fantastisk at hun ikke kunne tabe sig mere - men fantastisk at hun kunne holde sit fedttab nede og bevare sine resultater. Ofte er det nemt at tabe sig, men de færreste kan bevare dette resultat. Plateau behøves ikke være en dårlig ting - men derimod en øvelse i at holde sin nye vægt/form/livsstil. Jeg har selv tabt mig mange gange og haft forholdsvis nemt ved dette, men den virkelige kamp for mig har ligget i at finde en livsstil, hvor jeg kan holde en form og have det godt. Og det er da det fedeste 🙂

Body composition > just worrying about what the scale says. Left (2011) - gained 20 pounds in college, at the time it was my heaviest adult weight, didn't work out at all. Right (2017) - same weight, injured amateur powerlifter.

Ellie (@two.thirdsveggies) has had more than her fair share of shoulder trouble in the past, and getting those surgically repaired joints back to health requires a careful strategy. Shoulders and the upper back are complex, and getting each and every one of those itty bitty muscles strong and functional means lots of nuanced variety. Grip width, hand position, movement planes and points of the strength curve all all need to be considered.
Here Ellie is demoing a lean away lateral raise. A small adjustment (In this case, leaning) means a different stimulus and training effect. Making sure we're covering all of our bases is an important part of her (and everybody's) training.

Flexible dieting is a great way to take back the reigns on your life and relationship with food in a sustainable and effective manner. I've said it before and I'll say it again. What happens when you're done dieting is almost more important than what you do during. If you lose 10 pounds only to hate yourself and gain it back and then some, your diet was a failure. .
