Woke up this Morning to do my check-in and my scale wouldn't work. I smashed it around a little, changed the batteries and nothin! 😳 I've had that scale for years, and it's been through every prep with me. For anyone who's involved in bodybuilding, you guys know what I'm talking about! You use the same damn scale every weigh in, and if you're traveling you will even bring it with you if you're cutting for a show! #bodybuildingthings .
So what did I do?
1. I snapped photos as I usually do and compared the my photos from this week, to last week. I see some definition this week, so I ain't mad at it! 😜(swipe and let me know if you see what I see!) 2. I measured my waist where I always do, and I can even pinch a little tighter than I usually could. So I'm satisfied there!
3. Certain places on my body where I store fat, feel smaller this week. And by places I mean.. ahem. My pecs? My.. pectorals? My boobs! Ok?! 🙈
Im so used to snapping check in photos at a much lighter weight for bikini shows. Sometimes snapping photos I have to double take and remember that I am not cutting for a show, so stage lean isn't the goal.
The first photo I'm quite proud of. I started my Fitness Journey in 2011 roughly at the same weight that I am now. But my body has totally and completed changed and transformed into something else. I'm proud of how my body composition looks at this weight today (I say today because #present) and I will continue to build and shape it into something even more remarkable 🙏🏻 #selfloveforreal .
P.S. I wear the same thing each check-in to keep things ⚖️ (best use of that emoji ever?)
