So I didn’t wake up one morning and go run a marathon or be able to do push ups or finish a Max 30 workout without stopping! .
.
When I first started this journey about 12 years ago I couldn’t even run half a mile without stopping! I also hated exercise! .
.
Fast forward a few years after my first baby I started doing at home workouts, not very consistently though. After my second baby I signed up for a marathon. I was scared to death and not very fast but I did it! It took many months of training and sacrifices! .
.
Then fast forward to joining Beachbody, I started getting up super early to do my workouts! I finally had a plan by following a program’s calendar! No more guessing and trying to figure out a workout to do! I am not a trainer so trying to make up a workout regiment that will get me results in not an easy thing for me! Luckily I don’t have to do that!! But these workouts got me to where I am in my fitness!! .

So what I’m trying to say is STOP comparing yourself to people you see on social media. Stop thinking you can’t do the workouts they do because they’re in shape and you don’t think you are. YES YOU CAN!!! Maybe you need to work up to it but you can do it!! Everyone starts somewhere! So don’t already throw in the towel before you even use it to wipe your sweat off! .

I mentioned in my instastory the other day that after two babies, my skin suffers from stretch marks on my thighs, waist and boobs. And even though I know that they will never fully go away, I can definitely use something that is going to help them fade. In comes Frankincense oil and the unscented hand and body lotion.

Just a small amount in the palm of my hand with a few drops of Frankincense, morning and night, and my skin feels silky smooth. And for myself I have truly seen a difference in my stretch marks. No more buying expensive creams with a hundred ingredients that do nothing. Going back to natural ingredients that smell AMAZING 🙌

I did not want to workout today!!! But, if I only worked out when I felt motivated to, it would happen maybe 3 times a month. If you want results and you want to be healthy then you have to ignore how you feel and do it anyway. Often I don't feel like going to work but I do it because I have to and this is the same. Do it because you can!

First I wanted to show this pic without my eyes 😂but this is me the real me #nofilter and if I'm using tonne of make up and good lights than u won't see my eye 'bags'. But who is using make up for exercises??? 😯 ... Even if I'm sleeping lot - couple years ago - u can see it, it's genetic... Only the colour is different, sometimes darker sometimes not 😂

Today was basically a “me” day + my daughters by my side🙌🏼 My hair is officially done and I’m, again, in love with it!! I love my hair bright bright blonde so much! I got it done when my girls were supposed to have their naps and surprisingly they did amazing for not napping thank goodness🙌🏼 After that, we went Christmas and grocery shopping which led to major success of finishing shopping for my hubby and having fruit, veggies, a turkey (yaaaasssss🦃) and other yummy yummy things in the house again🙌🏼 Seriously, today couldn’t have gone any better than it has. I haven’t done any workouts today since I’ve been out and about ALL day and I’m going to be up bright and early for spin YAY🚴🏼‍♀️ Today was definitely needed to just basically relax/have an active rest day. I feel very well rested (especially when my girls slept in until 10am) and energized and I’m totally gonna be ready for tomorrow’s adventures! Ps, I spy my very adventurous baby girl💕

I started my workout and had to stop *9* minutes in to soothe my poor screaming bebe. His cries from upstairs sent pings to my heart. That biological connection is fierce. A mother's work is never-ending, even when you're panting and dripping sweat from your cardio sesh. I brought him down and tried to do it with him but burpees and mountain climbers with a 7 month old in your arms doesn't work. I WILL finish those last 18 minutes! I will-- even though this bed is so comfortable and I've been awake for so long. 😭

No excuses. Must do it. I can't give up on myself! Twelve days strong. 💪🏼

In between my swim lessons I swam for a little while and it felt so good. Muscles I haven’t used in a long time tired quickly and my body definitely doesn’t feel the same in the water but it was a great workout. I have no idea how I used to swim for 18 hours a week 😅😅😅. My yearly dermatologist appointment was today. All of the millions of times in the sun with absolutely no protection has caught up to me. I have had spots removed the last 3 years for testing; by the grace of God she found none today.

I loved being tan. Heck, I still love a good tan. But it was never, ever worth the worry I have now. .
Extended sun exposure and tanning beds are SO BAD FOR YOU. Please, please, please consider spray tans or tanning from a bottle. I know I sound like a mom, but I wish I could take all of the years of neglect to my skin back. I would in a heartbeat.

Since I can’t do that, I want to tell other women every chance I get to take care of their skin. I know in your teens and twenties you don’t see the damage, but when you are 34 like me, you will.
.
Please take care of yourself, inside and out. I promise, there are a lot of people who want you to stick around 💕

My Friday night consisted of jamin to our favorite music while we danced all over the living room! We kept circling back through the kitchen to grab a bite of pizza or gulps of water. 🤣

Now that little man is down it’s time for a much needed shower followed by a large glass of wine because it’s been a busy few days. #netflixandchill

I think one of the best things I have ever done for myself - was give myself a break from the "dieting forever" mindset. I used to be so obsessed with numbers (counting calories, carbs, fats & so on) and had NO idea how to intuitively eat. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped tracking my food and just began to eat whenever I was hungry until I was full. I told myself that I wouldn't start tracking food until my mind was totally prepared for it.

Well, it's been over a year and I am finally feeling mentally capable of starting to track my intake and get a little more serious in the gym and I am extremely excited to do it in a more balanced and flexible manner.

#FlashbackFriday Trying to motivate myself because I’ve come a very long way. For those of you who’ve been following me for a while, you know my postpartum weight loss struggle. Despite all of my hard work I put in for so many months after giving birth, I did not lose my baby weight until I finished nursing & going full on keto. My body is obviously carb sensitive😒anyway I managed to finally lose almost all of my baby weight (70 M’Fn pounds👀) about a month and a half ago. Since then I have been in a holiday funk of gaining and losing the same 2-3pounds over & over. The bloating is real😩 I’ve been feeling down about myself but I know how far I’ve come & how good I feel being back to my semi normal size & wearing cute clothes. I never wanna be that girl again (depressed & completely uncomfortable in her own skin😞) I do want to enjoy the holidays with my loved ones but at the same time don’t wanna ruin all of my progress. So here’s to stepping up my game this next couple of weeks🎉 #SayNoToJunks😂🤦‍♀️
