🐯 i’m officially a tiger!
And bloody hell did I earn those stripes! 💪🏼 This is unapologetically ME!
I didn’t get a single stretch mark with Maggie. And I only got these in the last week of Rory’s pregnancy. My poor body went through 4 pregnancies (2 to full term) within the space if 3 years ... it’s a bloody machine!
Don’t get me wrong looking at them makes me morn my pre-baby body a little.
But I don’t look at these and feel sad, I look at them and feel proud that I carried and pushed out a beautiful boy. It reminds me that we lost two pregnancies and each stripe is a blessing that I was fortunate enough to carry a baby at all never mind to full term. Some people don’t get that luxury and i’m grateful I can have children every single day!!!
These are my medals of honour but also my battle wounds of how tough the pregnancy and birth was!!!
I’m done with babies now, two is more than enough. So other than hopefully losing a little weight (which will happen when my body is ready - i’m breastfeeding and weight loss is not a priority!)... so I guess this is the new me, my new body, my new normal. And that’s okay because i’m not a wild 18 year old anymore, i’m a beautiful, strong and (sometimes) confident mama bear.

3️⃣ ➡️ 8️⃣ ➡️ 1️⃣2️⃣weeks postpartum .

In the beginning of my postpartum journey (weeks 3 -> 8) my main focus was engaging in some sort of physical activity at least 30 min a day but I was eating everything under the sun. The past few weeks, I've been focusing on nutrition more than exercise and as much as I hate to admit it, that's when I started to see the biggest changes in my body. I've always been MUCH more into exercise than nutrition but as I get older I realize that you cannot out exercise a bad diet. .

Over the past 3 weeks I've been taking a nutrition course that has completely changed my mindset about food, my body, and losing weight. It focuses on your relationship with food and provides simple and easy principles that can be applied to everyday life in order to help you loose weight and actually keep it off. There is no dieting, calorie counting or cutting food groups. I am still eating a ton of food and still get to eat the things I want and love so I never feel deprived 🙌🏼❤️ Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?! I promise you it's not 😉

10 months in-between these photos. As you can see I have quite my share of stretch marks, loose skin, and my scar is still healing. But you know what? Who cares! Because look at those abs popping through!!

I hear so often “I want to get my pre-baby body back.” But honestly I don’t want it back! I love the body I have now!

My fit fam, when I started back fitnessing after my second pregnancy 7 weeks ago, I couldn’t even do one push up modified in my knees - today I managed a whole 1 Minute set and a starter drill full out on my toes. .

It may not seem like much to you beasts out there who can do that in their sleep (I used to be one of those beats before kids!) but it’s A LOT for this tired mama who started back from zero strength a few weeks ago - all by doing 25 minutes in my living room, 5-6 days a week.

Change and growth are 2 things that don't come easy🤔 I KNOW it can be very hard and painful sometimes but you know what's even more painful!? Living your life stuck in a place where you don't belong!!! Have you ever felt so lost and alone, wanting to feel happy on the inside and not just fake that "happy" smile?
Well almost 2 years ago that was me! Although I had just given birth to my beautiful baby girl, I was in a very dark place due to the sudden death of my grandmother. On top of that I was 60lbs over weight, and had lost all hope of ever feeling or looking better. There was more thoughts of pain and depression than happiness.. and I thought that life was just supposed to be this way for me.
Well I WAS WRONG!🌈
In November 2016 I was invited to start a health journey by an amazing BRAVE woman!❤️ My coach!
I took a HUGE leap of faith, and immediately the weight started to drop! And the physical changes were obvious.. but more important the MENTAL CHANGES🙌 The makeover on the inside! I lost weight but gained SO much more☀️ She tought me how to LOVE myself and MY LIFE again! And I remember wanting to be amazing and brave enough just like her, to help women the way she helped me! So when she asked me to become a coach, even tho I was fearful and unsure.. I SAID YES! Because these days now I know I CAN! And so I did🌟
Now I help women while helping myself ✨ and I get paid for being an amazing BRAVE woman aka Coach😉

📚 Late night study sesh going on.
I know I’m not the only one who thinks there are #notenoughhoursintheday 🙌
And I also know there are many who think that being a #stayathomemom is a lot easier than a 9 to 5.
So I’m here to say that a) no, there are not enough hours in the day. And b) I worked 3 jobs, went to massage school at night, & took care of 10 dogs & THAT was a walk in the damn park compared to being a SAHM! (& yes I am so thankful to stay home with my kids but man is it the hardest job ever!)
Which leads me to c)I’m up late again working on my next chapter of life, my personal trainer certification. I love how it overlaps my world of being a #licensedmassageandbodyworktherapist 💕
I’m determined to get this done ASAP!

I went back to my favorite hip hop abs set and did the cardio fat burning 2 video...pair that with 1stphorm megawattv2 and 2lb wrist weights for the whole 40 minute workout and this girl is wiped out!! 😝💤

D A Y 1 of @butiyoga ‘s #dare2barechallenge. Bikini. Here’s to “drawing a line in the sand and committing to LOVING yourself RIGHT NOW.”

Man this first prompt is straight to it huh?? I’ll be honest. I am nervous to post this. But I committed myself to this challenge so here we are. I had a crappy day- SO tired from allergies/possible mold in the house so I’ve been in a fog all day. The thought of putting on a bikini which is like my least favorite thing to wear..well it was the last thing I wanted to do. Especially since right before taking these I was hysterically crying because I’m so tired of feeling so tired the past few weeks. I just want my energy back so I can do all the things I wanna do.

Anyways, regardless of my shitty mood I threw it on and started snapping pictures and said hey, I ain’t so bad. I housed two beautiful children in this body. This body is almost thirty years old. I had good lighting on my side or something but I can assure you I got a lotttt of jiggle, stretch marks, cellulite .. veins. The whole nine. I was gonna have Hubby take them but he took the kids to the gym. I called him like hey.. gonna post some bikini pictures for this challenge.. just a heads up 😂

I genuinely do love my body. I wouldn’t trade it for anyone else’s. Are there some days I pick myself apart, there sure af is. But I’m learning little by little to let it the fuck go and just love being me, flaws and all. Here’s to continuing the journey of SELF LOVE. ❤️ #proveyoursweat

I went shorts shopping. 🛍

I get that isn’t a big deal to probably 99% of you. But to me, the anxiety I had as I was grabbing each pair (I ended up taking 8 different ones in the dressing room) was ridiculous. I was borderline terrified. I haven’t felt comfortable in shorts since I was a little girl.
.
But today, I tried on shorts. And even though my hands were sweaty and I expected to hate what I saw in the mirror — I didn’t. I FELT AWESOME. 😭
Am I exactly where I want to be? No, not yet. I have plenty of toning to do. But with the right supplements (that I proudly share every day), smart food choices, my beloved Defining Gel (which is zapping my cellulite and is BoGo for the next 72 hours) and FINALLY incorporating light exercise into my routine (rough delivery, don’t ask) — I’m getting there. And it feels so darn good.
.
So yeah, I bought a pair of shorts today. Maybe not a big deal to you, but it’s basically reason #71649472 that I’ll continue sharing my journey and my products and my business. It matters and I’m not sorry. ✌🏻
