Stories of the untold lie before us in our midst. Yet, what makes them untold is the draping of their shame, the bedrocks of numbed emotion, the broken reflection of their perceived worth.
You see, these untold stories I speak of, are the stories of beloved faces covering earth's entirety.
Faces who have been entangled by chains of oppression and force.
Bodies who have been snatched in slavery's calloused hands.
Eyes who have been tainted by scenes of exploitation and false reality.
These are the faces of the 20+ million. Real people, with real stories. It is time for their stories to be rewritten for the lives they were meant for.
Lives not saturated in fear, subjection and violence; but engulfed in love, freedom, and breath.
Let us not grow dazed by the wretched reality of human trafficking. For there are worthy souls on the line; lives who never asked to be in someone's grip.
So come. Lock hands with me.
Much love, my friends. /
