Natalia Anciso is an American Chicana-Tejana contemporary artist and educator. She grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, and earned her B.A. in Studio Art from UT College of Fine Arts in 2008. Anciso’s art records the culture along her native Rio Grande, and depicts struggles on both sides of the border, especially as it pertains to the idea of identity. #c40a
