So I'm sick at the moment and have been wondering whether I should hide in bed or get outside and exercise 🤔
Good old Dr Google offers the above-the-neck rule: If the symptoms are above the neck, e.g. sore throat, blocked/runny nose, sneezing, etc., then it's ok to exercise ✔ If symptoms are below the neck, e.g. chesty cough, body aches, fever, fatigue, etc., then rest until these symptoms subside ❌ Thoughts?
A related fun fact: 30 min of regular exercise 3-4 x weekly has been shown to raise immunity 🖒 but intense 90 min training sessions can actually lower immunity 🖓
