Several days behind on my book challenge. You ready? Good! #janbookstagram18
Day 17, #favoritebooktorecommend and my, God there are a lot of them. I saved myself the work of destroying and then fixing my bookshelves by just pulling these books. #tessofthedurbervilles is one of my favorite books and led me to #themayorofcasterbridge which was excellent. I recommend #themysteriesofudolpho ONLY if you commit to reading #thecastleofotranto directly after. You will die laughing. #wilkiecollins I loved in college. #tseliot is one of my favorite poets. And the only modem book pictured is Pandora's Clock and it reminds me of Congo and Relic. I would include more modern authors but then this post would NEVER END.
Day 18 is #last5starread and that's hands down #gemina see the video for the absolute genius of how this book is more than words on a page. And they know how to use their words too. Day 19, same book, is my #blackandwhitebooks
Day 20 is #madeyoucry and there's a lot of those too, but I always cry when Callie and Talis do the past life regression and die together, with the little pet monkey wrapped around them, even though I know their current incarnations go on to break the curse.
