Sometimes I wish I was as rich as my #3SGTE AFR.
Those #BKR6E saw 9 thousand miles, gapped to 0.28.
On the dyno the AFR was 11.5 at WOT.
According to many sources on how to read spark plugs, those look OK.
No detonation, not lean but definitely rich.
My commute is pretty much getting stuck in traffic so the soot is quite heavy.
I ran all methanol now since the engine build when these were installed.
I used to run all water, and the plugs were all gray due to the water injection steam-clean them and the pistons as well.
I changed them to #BKR7E gapped to 0.22 now.
Amazing what a $2.50 part can do, now the engine runs and idle better than before.
I'll change them out at 5K next time instead of 9K.
