4 Tips for a better performance during competition⠀
•Eating the morning of competition:⠀
The biggest mistake is to eat something “special” that you're not usually eat. I believe the best thing to eat is what you normally eat before training i.e: small fruit (banana, dates) or an energy bar⠀
I can't stress that enough!it will help you to stay focus and put you in the right mindset before the fight.. Put your headphones on, put on your favorite music and let nature do it thing⠀
That means, have a 5-10 minutes warm up, something as simple as squats burpees and push ups, just to get the blood flowing. I personally recommends the @yogaforbjj official competition warm up. I used it every time.⠀
Have in your mind a basic plan A and plan B. if you're going to pull guard, or do a takedown, know it before stepping on the mat.⠀
