We are thrilled to announce that 12 juniors and seniors have been chosen to participate in the NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) Fellowship. This selective, year-long medical immersion experience is the first of its kind here at NSU University School where COM Fellows will have the opportunity to interact with NSU medical professionals and explore health fields including sports medicine, osteopathic medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, and biomedical informatics. These students have excelled in advanced science courses and have demonstrated a passion for or interest in health care. They will be asked to form unique research questions of their own, take part in individual research reviews, and speak to an audience about their experience, sharing pictures and evidence documenting the impact the Fellowship has had on their lives. Our connection to Nova Southeastern University offers students unmatched opportunities and the ability to work collaboratively with world-class NSU scientists, researchers, and distinguished professors. Without further ado, let’s give it up for this impressive group!
